How to run and debug apps on the simulator?

To run and debug an app on the simulator, you must use an integrated development environment (IDE) such as Xcode or Android Studio.

Follow these steps to run an app on the iOS simulator using XCode:

  • Open XCode and select "Create a new Xcode project."
  • Select the template for the type of app you want to create, then click "Next."
  • To save your project, select a location and click "Create."
  • In the project navigator on the left, select your project and choose a target.
  • SClick the run button in the top left corner of the Xcode window.

To debug an app using either XCode:

  • Set breakpoints in your code at the locations where you want to pause execution.
  • Run your app in the simulator as described above.
  • When the app reaches a breakpoint, it will pause execution, and you can use the debugger to inspect variables, step through code, and evaluate expressions.
