The executeScript() method from the JavascriptExecutor Interface can invoke multiple arguments in the form of arguments[0], arguments[1], etc

• As per your example, to javaScriptExecutor.executeScript("arguments[0].click()", webElement); to work you need to have the webElement defined. executeScript() method will take the reference of the element as arguments[0] along with the method to be performed [in this case click()] and the reference should be provided thereafter.

  WebElement webElement = driver.findElement(By.xpath("xpath_element"));
  JavascriptExecutor javaScriptExecutor = (JavascriptExecutor)driver;
  javaScriptExecutor.executeScript("arguments[0].click()", webElement);
  

• Similarly, an example of executeScript() with multiple arguments[] is as follows :

  JavascriptExecutor js = (JavascriptExecutor) driver; 
  js.executeScript("arguments[0].setAttribute('style', arguments[1])", driver.findElement(By.xpath("//input[@type='file']")), "0");
  

  Here in this example :

  • driver.findElement(By.xpath("//input[@type='file'] is referred as arguments[0]
  • "0" is referred as arguments[1]

Not sure if it will work but you can try this:

The getSize method returns the rendered web element size and not the physical size of an image. If your goal is to get the intrinsic height and width, then you could try to get the naturalWidth and naturalHeight properties:

Many GWT elements comes with ensureDebugId (method on UIObject) to allow you to explicitly set Ids to elements for testing and debugging purpose. You also need to inherit the module

 <inherits name="com.google.gwt.user.Debug"/> 

to make it work. The advantage of this is, you can remove the trace from the production deployment by removing the inherited module in during prod mode compile. Hence there wont be code changes to remove unnecessary Ids.

Implicit Wait and Explicit Waits doesn't work that way, they will maximum wait for element for the time duration specified, If they find the element before that next step would be executed.

If you want your test to wait for exact time duration, you may want to use.

Thread.sleep(Time duration in milliseconds);

Explicit Waits : An explicit waits is code you define to wait for a certain condition to occur before proceeding further in the code.

Implicit Waits : An implicit wait is to tell WebDriver to poll the DOM for a certain amount of time when trying to find an element or elements if they are not immediately available.

Thread.sleep : In sleep code It will always wait for mentioned seconds, even in case the page is ready to interact after 1 sec. So this can slow the tests.

Use Actions class to perform mouse, keyboard actions on WebElements using WebDriver.

Actions action = new Actions(driver);
WebElement element=driver.findElement(By.linkText("TEST"));

//Double click
action.doubleClick(element).perform();

//Mouse over
action.moveToElement(element).perform();

//Right Click
action.contextClick(element).perform();

Simply add to phantomJS's default desired capabilities, like so:

DesiredCapabilities desiredCapabilities = DesiredCapabilities.phantomjs();
desiredCapabilities.setCapability("phantomjs.cli.args", Collections.singletonList("--ignore-ssl-errors=yes"));

PhantomJSDriver driver = new PhantomJSDriver(desiredCapabilities);

DesiredCapabilities would help you to change user agent.

You can achieve this by calling these methods:

• setBrowserName(java.lang.String browserName)
• setPlatform(Platform platform)
• setVersion(java.lang.String version)

Or

• static DesiredCapabilities chrome()
• static DesiredCapabilities firefox()
• static DesiredCapabilities iphone()
• ...
