How to use refresh method of org.openqa.selenium.Interface WebDriver.Navigation class

It needs to set same Security level in all zones. To do that follow the steps below:

1.Open IE

2.Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security

3.Set all zones (Internet, Local intranet, Trusted sites, Restricted sites) to the same protected mode, enabled or disabled should not matter.

Finally, set Zoom level to 100% by right clicking on the gear located at the top right corner and enabling the status-bar. Default zoom level is now displayed at the lower right.

It works for me on web application which are angular based.

Given that Selenium doesn't seem to offer what I want directly (based on what Mike Kwan and Slanec said), this simple helper method is what I went with for now:

    driver.manage().timeouts().implicitlyWait(10, TimeUnit.SECONDS);
}

If the element is hidden or not present at all, the method returns true; if it is visible, returns false. Either way, the check is done instantly.

Using the above is at least much cleaner than littering the test cases themselves with calls to turnOffImplicitWaits() and turnOnImplicitWaits().

C# convention is that interfaces are prefixed with an I, e.g. IEnumerable, IDisposable.

Java has no such convention.

Ok i have managed to finally get rid of that useless loggings. Here is what i did.
Use:
System.setProperty("webdriver.chrome.silentOutput", "true");

To get rid of chromedriver logs:

Starting ChromeDriver 2.43.600233 (523efee95e3d68b8719b3a1c83051aa63aa6b10d) on port 1628 Only local connections are allowed.

And use: java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger("org.openqa.selenium").setLevel(Level.OFF);
To get rid of selenium logs:

This was a bug in Testng. solved in 6.9.5. Please upgrade.

The basic authentication via url is blocked only for sub resources. So you could still use it on the domain:

You could also create a small extension to automatically set the credentials when they are requested:

On Linux, you can start up a vncserver on a different display (say, :8 or something) and then have Selenium and your Firefox instances use that display. Works well for us where I work.

For me to resolve this problem :

On Windows

cd C:\Users\[myname]\AppData\Roaming\npm\node_modules\protractor
npm i webdriver-manager@latest
webdriver-manager update
webdriver-manager start &

On Cent-OS (I used Cent-OS 7.4.* and it worked fine.)

cd /usr/lib/node_modules/protractor/
sudo npm i webdriver-manager@latest
sudo webdriver-manager update
sudo webdriver-manager start &
