How to use TestOutputReport method of com.paypal.selion.internal.reports.excelreport.TestOutputReport class

Unit and functional testing are the prime ways of verifying the JavaScript code quality. However, a host of tools are available that can also check code before or during its execution in order to test its quality and adherence to coding standards. With each tool having its unique features and advantages contributing to its testing capabilities, you can use the tool that best suits your need for performing JavaScript testing.

In some sense, testing can be more difficult than coding, as validating the efficiency of the test cases (i.e., the ‘goodness’ of your tests) can be much harder than validating code correctness. In practice, the tests are just executed without any validation beyond the pass/fail verdict. On the contrary, the code is (hopefully) always validated by testing. By designing and executing the test cases the result is that some tests have passed, and some others have failed. Testers do not know much about how many bugs remain in the code, nor about their bug-revealing efficiency.

The purpose of developing test cases is to ensure the application functions as expected for the customer. Test cases provide basic application documentation for every function, feature, and integrated connection. Test case development often detects defects in the design or missing requirements early in the development process. Additionally, well-written test cases provide internal documentation for all application processing. Test case development is an important part of determining software quality and keeping defects away from customers.

To understand the agile testing mindset, we first need to determine what makes a team “agile.” To me, an agile team continually focuses on becoming self-organized and cross-functional to be able to complete any challenge they may face during a project.

Sometimes, in our test code, we need to handle actions that apparently could not be done automatically. For example, some mouse actions such as context click, double click, drag and drop, mouse movements, and some special key down and key up actions. These specific actions could be crucial depending on the project context.
