Dries Buytaert, a graduate student at the University of Antwerp, came up with the idea of developing something similar to a chat room. Moreover, he modified the conventional chat rooms into a website where his friends could post their queries and reply through comments. However, for this project, he thought of creating a temporary archive of posts.

In an ideal world, you can test your web application in the same test environment and return the same results every time. The reality can be difficult sometimes when you have flaky tests, which may be due to the complexity of the web elements you are trying to perform an action on your test case.

As part of one of my consulting efforts, I worked with a mid-sized company that was looking to move toward a more agile manner of developing software. As with any shift in work style, there is some bewilderment and, for some, considerable anxiety. People are being challenged to leave their comfort zones and embrace a continuously changing, dynamic working environment. And, dare I say it, testing may be the most ‘disturbed’ of the software roles in agile development.

JUnit is one of the most popular unit testing frameworks in the Java ecosystem. The JUnit 5 version (also known as Jupiter) contains many exciting innovations, including support for new features in Java 8 and above. However, many developers still prefer to use the JUnit 4 framework since certain features like parallel execution with JUnit 5 are still in the experimental phase.

When it comes to UI components, there are two versatile methods that we can use to build it for your website: either we can use prebuilt components from a well-known library or framework, or we can develop our UI components from scratch.
